As a second shooter at a wedding, my role is to support the lead photographer and ensure we capture every important moment from multiple perspectives. While the lead focuses on key shots like the couple’s vows or formal portraits, I step in to photograph candid reactions, small details, and alternate angles that add depth to the story. I’m also there to assist with lighting setups, organize groups for portraits, and help manage equipment, freeing up the lead to focus on their creative vision. Together, we create a more comprehensive and seamless collection of images for the couple to cherish.
